A very different kind of love story, but loved it so much right from the start!

Characters you can’t help but fall in love with

OMG.
So many emotions I had listening to this story.
I smiled, laughed, was very angry, I was in awe.

Through out this story I was so against Vanessa’s life choices, the ones regarding her family, her love, and her personal life.

As for the ending there was no other way to finish this love story.

Now that I have listened to it fully and calmed my emotions Vanessa’s desire to live her life that way made the most sense.
How do you react when your time is limited. I hope to never know that personally.

Zachary Webber was amazing as always. Christine Lakin is new to me an I thought she did a fine job.

So worth getting.

Abby Jimenez has done it again. Ugh this book was so good. So emotional, and so funny, and so heartfelt, and SO GOOD. This book had me laughing in the first chapter (on par for Abby’s books) and if I’m honest, crying through a lot of it too. Vanessa’s story and loss and Adrian’s anxiety and need for control broke me in honestly the best way. The narrators did an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. Zachary Webber delivered a line in the last 15 minutes of the book that immediately made me burst into tears and MY GOD. Just be prepared to have tissues in case you weep like me. I loved loved loved this book. Always 5 stars for Abby Jimenez.

I really liked this. It was some parts funny and lighthearted but also heavy and emotional with our FMC having ALC and dealing with that her whole life along with other family things. I really liked Adrian and Vanessa’s dynamic too. I just love Abby Jimenez’s writing, though this is her older book but still good
