Perfect for this time of year. There were even a few stories new to me.

Fun mysteries, good narrator

This is a good collection of Agatha Christie’s mysteries, although you may have heard some of them in other compilations (I had, and skipped those). Be sure that you enjoy the Harley Quin mysteries if you purchase this, as there are quite a number of them in here. Fennell’s Woolgar is a talented narrator with a pleasant voice.

Christie is Classic

Great performance and stories; be aware that about four of these stories appear in other collections- 2 are in a collection of Poirot , and two from Miss Marple. That does not detract from enjoying them again, however.

Perfect seasonal solace

This collection from Agatha Christie had several delightful surprises. It opens with an autobiographical memoir of Christmas dinner from Christie herself. And one story in the collection turns out to be in a different genre altogether : a delightful romance in the style of F Scott Fitzgerald. The Christie stories are exquisitely read by Fenella Woolgar. Perfect solace for a winter’s night in the year of the plague.

Very Enjoyable Short Stories

The narration is very good and most of the stories are intriguing. The Parker Pyne short was annoying. Fortunately the enjoyment of the other stories far outweighed that bit of regret.

Christmas Cozies

Excellent narrator! She brings the characters and stories to life. Bought it to listen to over the Christmas holidays and am happy I did.

Agatha Christie as usual is still the Queen.....

I love all things Agatha Christie, but the narrator should never try to do a French....Belgian....accent!! She also was almost a whisper when doing that accent. This is my opinion.

Enjoyed it

Very much enjoyed, the fist story is the best. There were a couple of boring stories, but overall worth it.

Did not like the narrator.

Fenella’s reading ruined it for me. :( Specially when she "was" Poirot. But the stories are as expected, read them many a time and will read them many more hehe :)
