The content of this book is well researched and debunks many popular beliefs about the state of the world. The author narrates the book herself, which some listeners will find challenging. She has a strong accent and her voice is rather flat. it is not an easy listen and I would have preferred a more attractive voice. However I still believe this is an excellent book

You can swing data anyway you want. She has become very cold hearted. It does not matter if certain animals go extinct !

Hard to understand key points. Her accent would be in Scotland but not in North America. Waste of time.to listen.

It’s a hard task to write about data and the breadth of the 8 topics in detail while still covering all the relevant points. Despite a few issues missing here and there the book covers these broad topics and their supporting data in a way that really helped me see past my biases, or “what i know”. It really did give me some optimism and a new way to look at the information we receive. I hope the title of the book becomes true.

This audiobook is very informative, I enjoyed the content so much that I went to see her on YouTube, fortunately, there were subtitles on YouTube. While I really enjoyed the content, it was quite challenging to listen to read this audiobook because of the pronounced accent of the author who does double duty as a narrator. I would have preferred if the narrator had a more neutral English.

I assumed this book would be mostly based on facts, which for the most part it is, but it's presented in a way that you can feel the bias. I feel like Hannah is giving people a pass on making poor environmental decisions. She makes the burning down of our entire planet seem like it's not that big of a deal. Maybe this changes halfway through the book, but after a couple hours of listening I couldn't really listen anymore.
