But I am not Lucian. I am the Rift Magus, and though my strength is diminished, my knowledge remains. Now, I must rebuild my power from the ground up, reclaim the magic that was lost, and rise once more before the darkness that haunts me finds its way into this world.

It's a good story so far, narrator's good too, and the world building is great. BUT how many time is he gonna say "I'm a Rift Magus, this is nothing"? I've lost count of every time he has to specify that he is a powerful Rift Magus of a legendary status. 😮‍💨🤦‍♀️

I like the premise of the story overall though, I'll continue listening.
