first off I want to say that the voice actor did a great job with this one.
second, the plot of this book was unique and engaging and I cant wait for the series 3rd installment.
The only thing that I would change is to make the mc more likable. its moreso in the second book but to me she seems real self centered and very rude to most people when any little thing dosent go her way. I don't know its probably just me but that's my review. keep up the good work.

Narration was beautifully done. And the character Jade was written well, the danger element, though slow in appearance, becomes a great focal point.

Great start to a relaxed but entertaining story

Ok, I tried to get into this but ultimately I think it is targeted at a teen female audience. The voice performance is very good but the story is geared for a 15 year old girl I think. The ideas were pretty good for the magic system and the character but some of the plot lines and character behavior didnt make sense.
