absolutely incredible start to the series

• character's are all well written with their own motivation and personality
• story is well paced
• fascinating power system (one of my favorite takes on superpowers)
•the main character is intelligent, competent, and ruthless while still managing to be relatable

it would take hours to write down all the things I love about this book and I truly recommend it to everyone.
