As for the story, it’s great; this is Christie having fun with her plot and characters, while still providing a very interesting tale of murder, complete with a not easily-guessed murderer.
While maintaining originality, Christie manages to include elements reminiscent of the writing of Arthur Conan Doyle, Edgar Allen Poe, and Oscar Wilde. :-)
