Promising start with humour but she gets more and more demure and it gets bland

Who would have thought mergers and acquisitions lawyers’ day to day would be so boring? Most people? Yeah, it’s super boring. The book finally gets a little spicy and the guy’s voice is deadpan, like he sounds AI generated. The female narrator is good. Don’t think I can finish this one, her other book was better if you’re into the billionaire trope.
