What made the experience of listening to The Book on Managing Rental Properties the most enjoyable?

Brandon and Heather provide a wealth of information that will take you from feeling clueless to educated about managing your rental properties. If you are new to rental property management, this is a must read. After reading this book, I shudder to think about how ill prepared I would have been going into my own personal buy-n-hold investor journey. While I certainly will have a lot to learn, reading this book has certainly saved me months if not years learning things the hard way.

Awesome Book!

This book is going to help me out tremendously!

I'm currently closing on my first duplex and will become an instant landlord, so listing to this audio book gave me some helpful tips on how to setup my systems and access to forms I going to need in three wheels when my property closes. Great information!

The flow of the audio book was great Brandon had stories for all of the examples that he used. It's nice to know that the author is an active investor and can gives us advice that can be applied in today's market.

The Absolute Best Real Estate Management Book

I grew up in the Property Management world. My folks owned between 18-70 rentals for most of my life. When I became an adult, I bought my own rentals and started a small management company. Even with the experience that I had, this book was ridiculously helpful! I owe a tremendous debt to the Turners and BP for teaching me the strategies, systems, and actions that have taken the majority of the burden off of me, and made my business more profitable and enjoyable. I'm happier, my family is happier, my Tenants are happier, and the money is much better. Thank you Brandon and Heather, thank you Bigger Pockets!

Extremely Fruitful (Bothersome Narrator)

What did you love best about The Book on Managing Rental Properties?

I liked the real life experience that the author was able to give. I also liked that his experiences are from Washington State and helpful since I live in Washington. I have not used it yet but he gives great references for background checks as well as a website to get some forms that would be most helpful. I took many notes during my list of this book as it was content rich.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Book on Managing Rental Properties?

Training your tenant to pay you on time.

What didn’t you like about Brandon Turner’s performance?

He sounds nice enough but he has a lisps that I don't care for. Probably in the wrong line of work.

Great book

Alot of great information in the audio for first time and previous landlords on keeping systems in place to run as a business and not a hobby, I will buy the soft cover book for a guide. It does sound overwhelming when listening but will help run the business the right way.

Good, but basic

This book is an excellent book for beginning real estate investors, or landlords. The book and build skills on foundational techniques, however The book does not dive deeper into landlord and above the most basic of skills. If you know nothing about landlord in this book is perfect for you, if you are involved in real estate already, you may be better off reading different books on specific techniques.

Best instructional book on real estate. Others just give a high 10K overview and no meat.

True Guide to Rental

This is a true guide from purchase to renting. The book seems like they followed me around for the past year and recorded my actions to move from purchase to cash flowing monthly. This is a now guide to renting investment properties. loved the book!!

Great book for anyone interested in becoming a landlord

This book is great. It's very comprehensive, has a bunch of downloadable resources, and the author is clearly passionate about the topic and that comes through in the audio performance, which I always appreciate.
