À propos de cet audio
Brought to you by Penguin.
The only question which hangs over the life of Sir Richard Wyndham, notable whip, dandy and Corinthian, is one of marriage. On the eve of making the most momentous decision of his life, he is on his way home, a little worse for drink, when he chances upon a beautiful young fugitive climbing out of a window by means of knotted sheets - and so finds a perfect opportunity for his own escape.
The Corinthian has eveything that Georgette Heyer's devoted readership came to expect and that made her one of the most popular novelists of her day and still adored by a huge audience.

For the humour and plot, certainly 5 stars. Richard Wyndham is 10+ stars but Pen got a little on my nerves this time, and I had a hard time believing a 17-year-old girl would be *so* innocent (even though it's explained several times that she's not like other girls, she's not a fool).
Still highly recommended, although I know there are fans out there who think the age gap is too much (29 and 17). I don't think there's any problem in this one. Pen is very strong-willed and does her own thing.
As for the audiobook - I wasn't a huge fan of the narrator in the beginning, but she grew on me. Overall, well done and easy to listen to.
One of my favourite Heyer books
