not a fan of the narrator and performance. really took away from the story. otherwise it's a great book!

I probably wouldn't continue this series if the rest of the books were read by the same narrator. He has a great voice for the gunslinger's character but I find that he parses his sentences quite awkwardly. It took me way longer than it should have to get through this.

That being said, the story is intriguing, captivating, and I can't wait to see where it goes!
