The reader is mostly fantastic, doing a good job at changing his voice and delivery for each character, as well as setting the tone, however is performance during narrations was came off as unintentional humorous, and thus distracting.
the Dark tower of course is worth every second of listening/reading.

I loved the story but I had a problem with the recording quality itself. There is a consistant static in the background that cuts out every time they edited two recordings together. I didn't notice it in the car when I was driving but when I had headphones in it was very annoying. The performance was fantastic but who ever set up the recording booth must have goofed up.
