My children (4 and 8) and I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and they begged me to get the next one in the series. My only complaint is that I found the narrator spoke too quickly, and we had to go back a few times because we missed information. Other than the pacing, the performance was good, and I liked the voices he did.

We were recommended this book and thought we’d give it a try during a road trip with our 3 young boys ages 7,7 and 10. We’ve never had a road trip with no fights until this one. The boys were all so enthralled with the story that they didn’t fight or argue or anything. It was delightful. And my husband and I enjoyed the story too! Would definitely recommend this book to other families with either boys or girls. We can’t wait to listen to other books in the series

This is a perfect book for anyone to read because it’s so good and only thing I suggest is you must read it it is so good and I really want everyone who reads it to enjoy it and have fun because it’s a really great book and Chris Colfer is one of my favourite offers in the whole world of course I’m only eight though

My nine year old and I loved listening to this. We laughed, cried and were on the edge of our seat, listening to this thrilling at times, creatively narrated - bringing to life all the treasured fairy tales in one action packed story. Hard to stop listening.
Whilst gently unfolding and exploring the complicated topic of a sibling relationship marred by grief and loss.

narrator was exceptional. story was intriguing, I listened every moment I could and was sad when it finished. I plan to get more of these books!

Fantastic story for those who love fairytales

This review is on behalf of my 8 and 9 year old children who both loves this book. In their opinion it starts off a little slowly and we did have some complaints in the beginning but once Alex and Conor are into the LOS they didnt want to stop listening. We listened to this book on a long road trip and the story has the ability to hold an adults attention also. We finished this book and were half way through book two by the time the road trip was over.

We listened to the Land of Stories over several car rides and the whole family enjoyed it. It’s a wonderful story and my son(8) and daughter(6) both loved the characters. Especially that they are brother and sister with different personalities. It appealed to everyone! And there were no annoying voices which often happens in kids audio books. :)

We played this for the kids while traveling. My 6, 8 and 10 yr old all loved and begged for it to play. Even my husband and I got really into it. Really well written and narrated. Loved how different fairytale characters were introduced, how their stories intertwined and how they offered different prespectives. We were all able to get lost in the Land of Stories.
