To succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of failure and betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves. So this was my first audible book and I have to say it was amazing. The story and narration had me so interested. If you are new to audible I highly recommend trying this one out forsure.

Even though this book is geared towards older children or early teenagers (I am in my 20's), I really enjoyed this book! I had just finished reading Mythos by Stephen Fry and it was definitely easier to follow and understand the gods personalities in this book. However, you don't need a lot of prior Greek mythology knowledge to read this book. The story was well structured, didn't leave loose ends, and had good character connections and development. This was definitely a fun read and I am excited to listen to the rest of this series!

The book was amazing, but the narrator had some words pronounced not as I used to and some of the scenes sounded weird, I wasn't a fan of some of the tone choices used while narrating, but no biggie, it was overall still quite engaging
