This story was just okay for me. It lacked a "oumph" that I expect in a romance novel. I didn't get attached to the characters or the story, but it wasn't bad either. I liked the main male character, and I liked that it was a unique story with themes or subjects we don't see often.

The female main character is a socialite and some aspects of her behavior, reactions, annoyed me. It prevented me to fully connect with her, but this may very well be a me thing.

So overall, not bad, but I would have liked more.

Wow. I actually really enjoyed the book, there was actually some wonderful character development! I loved the underlying stories & the fact it wasn’t just about romance and sex but so much more. Clara & Josh had great chemistry and it was written very well. The ending was okay, wish there was a little bit more of a wow ending but it was still great :) I would recommend.

This was a nice ride. I was pleasantly surprise and happy to discover that the characters had baggages and development. Reading the resume you kind of assume that it will be intoxicatingly smutty or disgustingly hot but no the « hum hum » is nice and lovingly. I really enjoyed the book, didn’t regrets my credit or money.

I loved this book and it was an interesting story but the male narrator ruined it. His Clara voice sounded like the Wayans Brothers from White Chicks

though this book falls victim to the same things as most romance novels, conflict being a result of a lack of communication, I really loved everything about this book. it is so sex positive and kind of political and wonderful and just... great.

the characters were solid. the chemistry wasn't always flying off the page but it was enough to keep me interested in invested for the whole novel. I listened to this one really quick. I think I got through it in two or three days. this is likely one that I will re listen to in the future.
