well thought out story in the bridge kingdom line. narration was great, although a bit disappointing that the make and female voices didn't mix and both had to do the opposite sex vocies when their turn came.

What a great installment of the Bridge Kingdom!! I love Anna and James. The politics, the intrigue, the little hints here and there of the deeper plots going on were really fun to try to parse out. But through it all I still had no clue what the bigger picture was so, of course, the end blew me away! ah! The next book can't come fast enough!

Ahnna is now one of my favourite characters in the series. Still dealing with the aftermath of the war she goes to fulfill the treaty and travels to Harendell to marry the crown prince. This story has forbidden love, arranged marriage, betrayal and a strong FMC. I loved this story so much and the ending will leave you wanting so much more. I don’t know how I’m going to wait for the next book to come out now.

I devoured this audiobook. I spiralled through a range of emotions with the different characters, with the last chapters leaving me audibly cursing. The most devastating part of this book is the fact that I have no idea when I get to listen to the next instalment.

Cliffhanger Endling

It feels so good to be back in the Bridge Kingdom series! I have always felt conflicted over my feelings towards Ahnna, so it was great to finally get her story. I always love a forbidden romance and this was done so well! James was such a great MMC and I loved the pining in this book. The romance between Ahnna and James was great and this story was so exciting. I am desperate for the final book after that cliffhanger.

The story was great, I think my favourite from this series so far! It had me on edge so much and the narrators did a fabulous job! I cannot wait to see what happens next!

It's been a while since I wrote a review but I was so impressed with this story, I had to. This book has it all:
1) political intrigue
2) suspense
3) forbidden romance
4) and OMG, this twisted throne has so many twist & turns - that ending...even after seeing all the reviews, the ending still caught me off guard...SO GOOD!

Love both main characters...both James & Anna have such a strong moral compass but their broken childhoods motivate them to make interesting decisions. I really like how each charcter's individual story is developed and drawn out. I can't wait for the next book!

I worried that I would miss the magic aspect of this fantasy book, but the well written story and ever adapting story really set this on apart from the rest.
The series as a whole was excellent this far!

So good. Good tension. Good banter. Ends on a cliff hanger. Love this series. Only bummer is I have to wait for the next one to come out.
