Tigana is definitely one of the better fantasy novels Ive ever read. The themes are poiniant and meaningful as the day they were written.

Kay is wonderful at telling a story. great descriptions and characters. The back story development is complete. I have read a few of his works now and all are worth it.

Story telling over cramped with situational details, so much that it makes. it hard to follow the line of thought.
The narrator is just not invested in the story, understandably, using his intonation less than efficiently.
The result is far from engaging listening, almost headache inducing.
Ah yes, and it should say M for Mature on the description. There are sex scenes that are particularly described in detail. Did not appreciate it.
