So Tori has a choice: work with the big, brawny, and annoyingly hot DEA agent . . . or watch more innocent people die.

Tori's the only person who can help Deck break the case, and they'll need to trust each other, no matter how high the tension and attraction sizzling between them run. But with every question answered, they realize there's something more behind these typical teen overdoses. There's a pattern here, and a pattern can only suggest one thing. There's a killer on the loose.

I have read all of Tee's books to date and I didn't think she could write a better book. Tough Justice is an excellent book and touches the heartstrings. I think every doctor should read this and pay attention to the story line so that lives can be saved. I thoroughly loved Deck and his dog and the interaction between them. I also loved Tori's heart for medicine and helping to heal those in the ER. The whole story was fantastic and I must say I didn't suspect the person who was behind all the things happening to be who it was, but I'm not spoiling the book. Fantastic book and excellent Vanessa Daniels is amazing and she helps the book to come alive. I recommend this book for all adult suspense readers. Another great book Tee!!! You have outdone yourself again and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
