À propos de cet audio
When I left my old life behind, I thought I’d seen the worst of it. Turns out, I was wrong.
Six months after discovering I’m a Warlock, surviving my first semester at a magic college filled with witches, and forming a coven with my roommate, things are getting complicated.
Just as I’m starting to make sense of Willowmere and the Witch Families that want me bound to them—or dead—Morgan, the closest thing I had to family in foster care, shows up. Only she’s got magic of her own. Now, between trying to figure out how to keep her safe, discovering the dark forces targeting my classmates, and keeping my coven together, life has officially reached a new level of weird.
At least I’m not alone. With my witch, Samantha, by my side and Melaina, my ancient, powerful (and frustratingly attractive) mentor, guiding me, I’m building a coven strong enough to keep the Families at bay. But as I delve deeper into the dark force targeting Willowmere, the lines between love, power, and loyalty blur as my coven grows in unexpected ways, adding an internal battle for us to face.

Left me wanting more
Yeah if you read my review on the first one, the momentum is really continued here. Though I will admit that they really feel like one whole book rather than the second feeling like a sequel, I think that has more to do with how bingeable the series is and the fact more questions get answered in this book than the prior one, some particular big ones, and the answers to the primary issues of the previous books.
It was nice to see Lewis Alexander get to use his vocal range a bit more.
I'm looking forward to the third book.

Great book with a few surprises
If you liked the first book, you'll like this one as well. It's got the same amazing voice acting and the same relationships and plot as the first - but adds more.
We finally get to know what happened to the witch who died in book one, and our MC finally adds a second witch to his coven... but not the one he intends. No, through the magic of a tired fanfiction trope, the MC and a hated classmate have to have sex to survive. The idea is cringe-worthy, much like the one lesbian witch becoming bi in the first book. Yet like that, it's done so well that you don't mind.
I especially liked the fact that even after the climax of the novel, it continued on for several chapters to explore the relationship of the new, expanded coven. Sam wasn't conveniently ignored, nor was the new witch conveniently suddenly nice to everyone. Instead, it felt more complex and more realistic - as much as a book about modern-day witch harems can be called that.
I am already looking forward to book 3. What do you mean it hasn't been written yet?
