Honestly just sad

(Contains spoilers)

The whole book is just one ridiculous heartbreak after another, I couldn’t even finish it, at an hour left I had to go read the book summary on warriors wiki because the whole book is just super depressing. An abusive mate? Kits dying? The main character (yellowfang) being too stupid to realize that literally EVERY warning is OBVIOUSLY about the stupid little kit? Oh my gods the fact that she even stayed with Raggedstar that long when he is such an abusive ass is ridiculous, not to mention it goes against the warrior code, and then all but one of her kits dies , of course it’s only the one who will ruin the clan, and of course everything is conveniently lined up that no one can challenge Raggedstar, not even his medicine cat, like wtf?? it’s SUPPOSED to be that the leader, deputy AND med cat can talk to each other and make decisions, not the leader holds grudges when his literally such a jerk in the first place. I’d return this in a heartbeat if I could. Just one grief after the other and a super annoying main character who literally sets her kit up to fail from the second he is put with his adoptive mother.

(Sorry this is a quick rant while I decided not to continue with the book, I may write a better one later if I remember, but for now I’m just angry I wasted a credit on this depressing mess.)
