Dr Who reading Watership Down
Peter Capaldi one of my favorite Doctors reading Watership Down which is my favorite childhood story is a dream come true.
His performance is amazing and eerily similar to the voices I've often imagined as I read the book over the years

Amazing story and narration
This is a wonderful story and a joy to listen to. The Narrator does an amazing job of keeping all the characters easily identifiable. This ranks right up there with Narnia and Fellowship of the Ring. Who would have thought that wild rabbits could form the basis for such an outstanding tale. Don’t miss it!

Spectacular!
Having the Doctor reading my favorite book is the most amazing I never knew I needed. He has an wonderful voice and you can hear the different characters so you do not have a hard time figuring who said what.

I love this book
I have enjoyed few books as much as this audiobook, and am hard pressed to think of any I enjoy more. The narrator is perfect for this story: clear, impassioned, easily recognizable and consistent characters.
The story by Adams is sub-creation at its finest. I loved the imaginative details - of culture, myth, and adventure - and I loved the virtues of each rabbit.
Through all the trials and dangers, there is deep down a real goodness at the core of and throughout this book. I’m thankful that people have made something like this. ❤️

A fantastic performance of one of the great novels
Watership Down is a great novel.
Although a children’s story, it is one of the best written novels I’ve ever read (or listened to). The adventures of Hazel and Company are, to me, on par with those of Bilbo, Winston Smith, or the Pevensies.
Peter Capaldi does a great job of bringing the story and characters to life. Fiver makes you nervous, Hazel calms you, Keehar and Bluebell make you laugh, Bigwig inspires, and Woundwort gives you the screaming heebie-jeebies.
It is a top quality rendition of a top quality story and well worth the time and cost.
