I would highly recommend reading this book. If you are interested in the true tale of wicked son of a witch is also a good follow up after that I would not recommend.

This is and quite possibly will always be my favourite novel ever I love the story it makes you question if bad guys are bad or if they is more to the story then just what you see it is a wonderful novel definitely read this book

I absolutely love this book. Loved it when I read it many years ago, loved listening to it now. What I dislike is the image used as the book cover. I find it offensive linking a terrible movie with terrible actors that is only remotely associated with the book, more so with the musical (which also takes a significant detour from the book series) used on this deep and powerful story.
I remember wishing to see a movie based on this book while I read it the first time, but the atrocity they put out, and used as the cover on this audible title, was a travesty to this story.
