À propos de cet audio
#1 New York Times bestselling author Adalyn Grace delivers a sensational conclusion to the deathly and decadent Belladonna trilogy, with dramatic twists and a seductive new romance that will set listeners' hearts ablaze.
Blythe Hawthorne has never let anyone tell her what to do—not society, not her overprotective father, and certainly not the man she’s bound herself to, no matter how rude and insufferable he is. In fact, she’s determined to be a thorn in his side for the rest of her days, even as he ensures that her life in his palace is anything but a fairytale. But as Blythe discovers a new side of herself linked to his past, she’ll have to decide if she’s willing to let an unexpected spark ignite…and to discover the truth about who she really is.

As the only Second Daughter born in centuries, Red has one purpose - to be sacrificed to the Wolf in the Wood in the hope he'll return the world's captured gods. Red is almost relieved to go. Plagued by a dangerous power she can't control, at least she knows that in the Wilderwood, she can't hurt those she loves. Again. But the legends lie. The Wolf is a man, not a monster. When a trip into the forest to collect a rare mushroom goes horribly wrong, I find myself falling through a fairy portal and straight into the arms of the Unseelie Fae prince. The dangerously unhinged and handsome Unseelie Fae prince. What could be more horrible than that? He thinks I'm an assassin sent by the humans to kill him, not a biologist. Determined to kill me first and rid himself of the human he has unwillingly grown obsessed with, yet also needing to entertain his people, the villain challenges me to three deadly trials.

Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
This series was so well-written. A gothic romantasy that will ensnare readers for generations to come! The conclusion left me breathless! I still have many questions about the world and some of the character's ancestors. What happened with Chaos? Is there more to come? A spin-off, perhaps? I thought the story arc completes at the third installment. Off to Google, I go!
I love the concept of deities, the magic system, the emotion, the unique and distinct characters. What a fantastic adventure!
Hello, sweet Briar.
Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
The relationship between Blythe and Fate is the heart of this romance novel, with their grumpy x sunshine personalities and spitfire banter making for an entertaining read. They truly do not like each other for a good portion of WISTERIA, their relationship growing as secrets of Blythe’s past are revealed and further drama ensues.
This is where the book shines, the chemistry between these two undeniable. The mystery of Blythe’s past is also intriguing, though there were a couple twists in the second half that seemed to appear out of the blue. I may need to think more on how I feel about them, but I didn’t quite expect them and though they amped up the stakes, I didn’t find them to quite fit with the story as a whole.
That said, WISTERIA pulls on the heartstrings and has an ending I deeply enjoyed. Grace’s writing is excellent and she creates a wonderful gothic romance atmosphere. I’ve really enjoyed this series and I recommend this to readers who like a complete gothic fantasy romance series!
Great Finale to this Gothic Fantasy Romance
Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
This book was just as magical as the previous ones, I devoured it and am left craving more.
Wisteria follows the story of Blythe and Fate. They dance around each other metaphorically and actually and this feels like a true enemies to lovers soiree. Blythe is sharp as a tack and incredibly clever. She has entered into a "marriage of convenience" bargain with fate in order to save her cousin in the previous book Foxglove. Fate makes no mystery of his revulsion towards her and his endless pining towards his late wife (super late as she passed what is described as centuries ago.) The story follows the two, starting on the day of their wedding.
Watching the banter and the stubborn shenanigans from our main characters is so much fun. Both of them are terrible and vindictive and it is equal parts funny as it is infuriating. As the story progresses we see them learn more about one another and without spoiling anything it is such a fun ride.
This book is full of whimsy and pining. Sadness and joy. Adalyn Grace has such a beautiful way of weaving magic into her stories and I love getting immersed in her worlds. The ending of this book was both tragic and heart warming....I found myself both shocked and elated.....the only thing I wish was different is that I wish there was more details in those final few chapters. I would have read an entire book on them finding each other again.
I loved Wisteria and will be looking forward to any more work Adalyn Graces us with!
Ugh Im sad its over....
