Today I’m clearing up the “gel polish is banned” headlines. Spoiler: it isn’t — the EU has banned one ingredient (TPO) in cosmetics from 1 Sept 2025, and brands are already reformulating. In the UK, a similar move is expected in due course (industry guidance currently points to around 2027), so we’ll transition sensibly — no drama needed. I’m sharing simple client talking points, salon policies, and easy content ideas so you can educate confidently and keep our industry strong. 💅✨

I told myself once my salon lease was up, that was it—I wanted a bigger house, a nicer car, more money, and I didn’t believe beauty could give me that.
