And, let's be even more real, we could all use a little more connection these days! That is why I'm excited to share this conversation with therapist and yogi, Derdine Brown.

Today I sit down with Faybeon Mickens, award-winning audio marketing creative with over fifteen years of experience in digital marketing, and owner of FM Digital LLC, an audio, visual, and experiential marketing firm specializing in digital marketing solutions.In this engaging conversation, Fay and I explore the intersections of creativity and entrepreneurship, focusing on the unique challenges faced by Black women in corporate spaces. We discuss the importance of authenticity, the journey of merging various gifts into a cohesive career, and the complexities surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, especially the misconceptions that Black women have benefitted most. And, we emphasize the need for genuine leadership that listens to marginalized voices.
