This daily podcast is a space to share the Word of God, offering encouragement, biblical insights, and real conversations that help both believers and non-believers draw closer to Him. • Counsel of God 2 (Not in us to Direct ourselves) Jer 10:23
    Oct 29 2025

    Jeremiah 10:23–24 teaches that:

    • Humans are not capable of directing their lives perfectly on their own

    • We must rely on God for wisdom and guidance

    • When God corrects us, we should desire His loving discipline, not His wrath

This same truth is demonstrated in Joshua 9, when:

    • Joshua and the Israelites were deceived by the Gibeonites

    • They made a peace treaty without seeking God’s guidance

    • The result brought long-term consequences they couldn’t undo

Joshua and the leaders trusted their eyesight instead of God’s insight. They said “yes” to something God would have warned them about — if they had asked.
