This week on the pod I’m joined by Aussie bare knuckle fighter Brad “The Weapon” Walton, a professional bare knuckle fighter with a 1–0 record, an 11x Muay Thai Champion, and 15 knockouts to his name. Brad is also the owner and head coach at Legacy Thai Boxing, producing killers and good humans in equal measure.

We get into his transition from Muay Thai to bare knuckle, what it’s really like fighting with no gloves, and how that “Weapon” mindset is built over years of discipline, pain, and belief. Brad opens up about the highs and lows of life inside and outside the ring, including the loss of both his parents at a young age, and how those experiences shaped the man and fighter he is today.

Got absolutely smashed by hail, barely slept, what a 12 hour stretch I’ve had!… but we’re here, we’re showing up, and we’re ripping in anyway because the pod doesn’t take sick days.

This week kicks off with a wild Turns Out, It Can Get Worse cold open featuring a man so in love he might actually need witness protection, the Chinese Girlfriend Ballad. Then we slide straight into the parenting anxiety spiral, Westy needing extra time at school, the perfect towel flick heard round the world, getting roasted publicly by my own child (“Put your hand up if you’re gay”), and the now famous Pipe Clips vs Pikelets saga.

From there it’s chaos: my 24 hour man flu (basically palliative care for men), nearly drifting the van into the afterlife, chapel events where a random old bloke tried to win karaoke, Parker’s graduation, and Westy going full statue mode.
