There are many voices that have been lost in the time we are now living in. Yet they are still here, supporting us as kin. Today’s episode is dedicated to the ancestors who have been here providing life to us all. Mother Earth, Father Sky, Grandmother Moon, Grandmother Ocean, Grandfather Sun, and Grandfather Fire. Those who I feel we have forgotten in this day and age.

When we allow ourselves to remember the connections we once held with these ancestors, we are better able to reconnect with OUR spirit. So today I wish to re-spark something within us all. A remembrance of our connection to family. Our Earth Family. The family that lives all around us. It’s very common for families, teachers, and adults to dismiss the gifts many of us come into this world with as young children. It seems intuition, until recently, has not been a topic that is often understood, used, and therefore discussed. Imaginary friends… They’re not real. Impactful dreams… They don’t mean anything. MEET ELLEN

Ellen Edmondson is the founder of an organization called Highly Intuitive Kids. She herself, is also the mother of a highly intuitive child, and stepped into her own intuitive abilities shortly after her son was born. She first noticed her son's unique experiences when he was 2 years old and just starting to talk more clearly. He began telling her and her husband about experiences he had when he was older-in a previous lifetime- the details were too specific and clear to be from the imagination of a 2 year old. He also began talking about his interactions with deceased loved ones. Not sure how to handle this, due to the lack of support on this topic, her and her husband created Highly Intuitive Kids as a wonderful resource and community for both children, and parents of children, who are learning how to maneuver thorough an often misunderstood world.

Her goal is to continually raise awareness about children who struggle and feel misunderstood in their communities, and to supply families with a better support system and necessary resources to help these children flourish and grow fully- connected to their intuitive and empathic abilities.

MEET SHEHNAZ

Shehnaz was born and raised in a patriarchal culture in Karachi, Pakistan, where women are groomed, expected to be wives and homemakers, and not even encouraged to go to school. Despite being raised in a culturally imposed cage, she followed her inner voice, completed her high school education as the valedictorian and continued engineering at the University of Karachi.

At the age of 21, Shehnaz’s first transformational journey brought her to Los Angeles via an arranged marriage where the path of challenging lessons emotionally charged experiences, and roadblocks including cultural/language barriers began. She later went on to hold her current position as an Aerospace Engineer for NASA as a Senior System Engineer for the Artemis Program. She and her cutting-edge team are working towards the unprecedented Human Landing System. When ready to launch, this system will bridge mankind with a long-term presence on the Moon and ultimately, on Mars. Combined with her passion to serve humanity with her ancient wisdom enables her to converge science with innovative technology to honor our multidimensional existence.
