    In this Special Episode, we examine Christmas Peace in our World and the work task to understand how we need to work for peace, work in peace, use music, avoid chaos and our phone, use 'to do" lists and music to help. By taking the time for peace, praying and protecting our peace, we can achieve a better world around you. Using systematic basics sets, relaxing patterns and katas, with big body weight movements, and Christmas Music and Lights Glow, we can keep moving this Holiday Season. Turn your peace into action around you, avoiding gossip and drama, start focusing beyond yourself, and doing good works for others, maybe "Everyday can be like Christmas." - just like Elvis Presley says in his song that we played.

    "Glory to God in the Highest, and on Earth Peace, good will towards Men." (Luke 2:14) and in the A Charlie Brown Christmas.

  • Christmas Giving Tree

    In this episode, we examine first the work task of putting up Christmas Decorations including decorating the O Famous Christmas Tree. We also listen to a Song from George Strait called "O Christmas Tree," to get into the Spirit. In our Martial Art Practice we talk about Holiday Stretching, Stair Training, and Circular Technique Training. In our Mental Training for Martial Arts and the Holiday, we talk about the Book, "The Giving Tree," and about helping others including Adopting a Family in Need or giving to Homeless and Outreach Centers during the time of Advent and Christmas. "We are Living because of our Giving!" Remember that is not OUR Stuff and Treasures, it is ALL God's....We are just choosing to Re-Allocate God's Treasures to others...

    In this episode, we examine what we are thankful for and being thankful for what you have, instead of always looking for newest thing, or buying the newest thing. Maybe trying to reuse something like a desk or a chair, or refinishing an object by sanding, staining or painting. Some of the Billionaire's around us show some examples of how they still use some of the same objects that they had when they started. Having gratitude in everything and everyone that you have in your life helps you to think of other people rather than just yourself. We return to basics in our martial art training by focusing on using our whole body in our movements and techniques. Doing slow patterns and katas also help to create a strong basis. Giving instead of receiving is also part of our mental training in teaching martial arts.

  • Building Arts

    In this episode, we look at the Building Arts or the construction methods and finishing of projects like houses, business buildings, or re-modeling. In our work task, we talk about taking a project from conception (blueprinting) to final finishing with sanding and paint, there are necessary steps to prepping and planning for a project and managing your workspace. Then in our Martial Art Practice, how to recover from doing a construction project including stretching, rest, the "Stretching Walk" and recovering from hard work. In our mental training, using healing methods such as meditation and massage to help to be able to continue making the world a better place.

    In this episode, we talk about giving back to our community by helping or donating to homeless shelters. your church, or anyone in need. Next, we talk about praying or listening to religious music or listening to the Bible while working out in different ways: like Tai Chi or lifting weights. Lastly, examine how to track your spiritual journey by time spent each day in prayer and reflection time using an app or journal. Set a minimum goal each day to devote to God or to your Higher Power to achieve a better and more peaceful life.

    In this episode, we cover Yoga and Mindful Martial Art by first exploring how gardening is an expression of mindful work as a prerequisite to your training. Then in our Martial Art Training, doing yoga based stretches, yoga animal forms, relaxed tai chi patterns, barre exercises, pilates, the stretching walk, and the development of your straddle stretch are all valuable tools towards the sum total of your overall health and well being. In our mental training, the use of candles and incense help with deep breathing exercises to make your meditation much more complete and enjoyable.

    In this episode, we examine the history of warriors like samurai who would learn a passive art like calligraphy, art, or gardening to balance out their martial art training. They we learn how to open ourselves up to artistic expression in everything we see or do around us. Martial Art inspired Art or Performance can be artistic when combined and transformed on the page, in writing or with music, special uniforms, or circular extended techniques like a dance. The creative process helps us to see the world in a different way and use it instead of just for the fighting arts.

    In this episode, we examine the Power of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life and the gifts that you could receive if you ask humbly. We also compare the Holy Spirit to "the Force" in Star Wars and how we can be more than we are in our Martial Art Training by combining the training with the spiritual side of yourself by embracing the commitment and spirit yell or ki hap. Lastly, we talked about tapping into the knowledge that the Holy Spirit can bring similarly to the Jedi Knights in Star Wars used the "Knowledge of the Force."
