  • Ep 13: Christmas Chats, No Crisis
    Dec 15 2025

In this festive, free-flowing Christmas episode of Midlife, No Crisis, the hosts chat their way through December life with hats on, elves in tow, and only minor attempts to avoid moaning.

You might want to keep small kids away from this - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

They cover everything from Christmas walks, gigs, Pilates gossip and work frustrations, to being unexpectedly thrown up on by a schoolchild, getting an email read out on a rival podcast, and the strange thrill of receiving their first TikTok comment from a total stranger.

The conversation turns festive as they share Christmas traditions (or lack of them), family elves, the bittersweet moment when children stop believing, and favourite Christmas films, songs, food and cards. There’s plenty of nostalgia, sarcasm, warmth, and laughter — with strong opinions on sprouts, Christmas parties, Whamageddon, and handwritten cards.

It’s a cosy Christmas catch-up about midlife, magic, mild misery, and finding joy in the small things — with the promise that all the proper moaning is being saved for the next episode.

  • Crisis Talks: Competitive Parents, Broccoli Brags & Teenagers with No Empathy
    Dec 10 2025

In this episode of Crisis Talks, the duo wrap up their “moaning” series and dive head-first into Parenting Room 101— from helicopter parents and loud narrators to humble-brag mums. They unpack the madness of social-media parenting, the horror of present-haul posts at Christmas, and the universal pain of raising teenagers (aka: empathy-free young people).

The conversation spirals — naturally — into memories of their own kids, and they jump through nostalgia, teenage behaviour, fridge-door slamming, and the challenges of modern parenting.

The episode finishes with a chat about Australian Christmases, booking their Dubai 50th trip, upcoming holidays, and what’s coming next: a cheerful Christmas special (or at least an attempt not to moan).

Don't forget to submit your Christmas stories for the festive episode.

  • Ep 12: "And you thought The Clash were angry!"
    Dec 8 2025

It’s been a tough, cough-ridden week for the Midlife No Crisis duo. After being struck down by the worst illnesses they’ve had in years, the girls reunite - armed with hats and orange Vimto - to catch up on everything from flu-induced meltdowns to 20-year-olds losing their keys, menopausal vitamin conspiracies, and why December is just one long crawl to the finish line.

There’s teenage drama (Sweet 16s, questionable sayings, and Leeds Fest negotiations), parenting fails, hot-tub confessions, flying cockroaches abroad, and the ongoing horror of Elf on the Shelf.

They also gear up for this week’s theme: Room 101 – The Pre-Christmas Cleanse, where all the moans, gripes, and festive chaos get thrown into the bin before the Christmas episode.

Warm, chaotic, relatable midlife nonsense… just how we like it.

  • CT: The Weekend Wales Tried to Deport Us
    Nov 26 2025

In this episode we relive the most chaotic girls’ weekend of our twenties—what started as a simple trip to Abersoch turned into bunk-beds, angry mobs, Welsh shopkeepers refusing to look at us, a car crash (mid-vom!), a five-hour detour through 1850s Wales, an accidental night in a pretend rave, collapsing all over Katie’s flat, and finishing with a day out in Weston-Super-Nightmare. It’s the story our friends love, we barely remember, and absolutely no one in Wales wants us to tell again.

  • Ep 11: Because every girl needs a weekend away to remember… or forget!
    Nov 24 2025

This week’s episode is pure girls-weekend chaos—Katie arrives freshly blow-dried with the wrong-initial mug, there’s ring-piece chat within seconds, and we spiral through driving hell, McDonald’s missions, kids’ hobbies, and the emotional rollercoaster of booking Australia flights. We cover the genuinely terrifying moment Katie injected the wrong insulin and had to chug Lucozade, piano-showcase carnage, Black Friday spam rage, our first ever fan mail, global listeners, and the slow descent into madness as we sip rosé and reminisce about falling out of taxis in our Patsy & Edina era.

  • Ep 10: Why Midlife Women (or women of a certain age!) Deserve a Medal This Week!
    Nov 17 2025

In this week’s episode of Midlife? No Crisis!, we dive straight into midlife chaos: house parties where you know no one, pub-crawl quizzes in torrential rain, midlife tattoos (and tattoo artists who think they know best), old-school piercings, irritating colleagues, whistlers in the office, and the daily fight not to roll our eyes into another dimension.

We also wobble emotionally over teenagers growing up, revisit our school-sport glory (or non-glory) days, debate whether we’re actually “sporty,” and relive the iconic High Energy rave-style workout classes of the 90s. Add in Christmas films sneaking onto the TV, a Bluetones gig, Pilates pain, and Sarah Cox’s midlife marathon going viral—and you’ve got the full mix.

It’s honest, and takes a slightly more serious turn this week but it’s the kind of midlife chit-chat you’ll feel right at home with.

  • CT: Raving and misbehaving
    Nov 12 2025

In this episode of Crisis Talks, Katy and Katie revisit the gigs that shaped their teens, the bands that still give them goosebumps, and the festivals that nearly finished them off. Expect stories of dodgy tents, chaotic weekends, and why music still matters more than ever in midlife — even if recovery now takes three business days.
