Romans 12:9 commands us: Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s murder, we are reminded of the hate, deception, and distraction pressing in on our world. Yet Charlie’s life pointed to something higher. He was careful with his words, disciplined in his thinking, and sincere in his love for people—even those who opposed him.

That’s the kind of sincerity Scripture calls us to. Hate the evil that destroys lives, but never lose love for God’s people. Cling to what is good, and walk it out with courage.

Jesus warned in Matthew 7:6: “Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.”

Look around—what does this world really reward? Not righteousness, humility, or brotherly love. Instead, it rewards that which is not of God, leaving men enslaved to anger, sin, and lies. It keeps us distracted, worn down, and compromised.

But as Christian men, our mission is too important to surrender. Every day we must decide: Will we trust God’s promises and guard what is holy, or will we let the world shape us into its image?
