Sarah Rivkah explains how Links began in 2006 as a small magazine for bereaved teens and quickly grew into Shabbatones, year-round programming, and global services. The conversation also explores what it really takes to run a nonprofit like a business fundraising, marketing, leadership, and learning to let go of roles as you scale. They discuss Links fundraising approach, including the high-end “Strings Concert” on February 22 benefiting a Pesach gift card program for about 450 families, and “Opportunities” WhatsApp model that raises urgent needs through small, fast donations.
