Creating music that blends 90s rock influences with dreamy, experimental sounds, her latest EP, Loose Tooth and a Short Skirt, has established her as one of the most exciting emerging alternative acts. An Odyssey Sound Session with Hatchie.

Hatchie, the project of Brisbane born, Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Harriette Pilbeam recently released her new album Liquorice. Created in collaboration with Melina Duterte (aka Jay Som), Hatchie has crafted her most honest, freeing music yet. Over the past eight years, Hatchie has quietly become one of Australia’s most compelling musical exports. Her records have earned glowing praise from Pitchfork, The Needle Drop, The Guardian, and NME, and she’s shared stages with Kylie Minogue, Japanese Breakfast, and Alex G. An Odyssey Sound Session with Florence Road.

The Irish band made up of childhood friends Lily Aron (Vocals), Emma Brandon (Guitar), Ailbhe Barry (Bass) and Hannah Kelly (Drums), spent their teens perfecting their craft in Aron’s garden shed in Wicklow, Ireland. The band have had a breakthrough year, establishing themselves as one of the most exciting new acts of the moment. With standout sets at SXSW London and The Great Escape, and support slots with Olivia Rodrigo, sombr, Wallows, Royel Otis, Wolf Alice and The Last Dinner Party to come, their momentum shows no sign of slowing.
