Learning to Praise | Psalm 150:1–6

This past Sunday, Pastor Steve walked us through Psalm 150 and taught us that praise is not optional—it is commanded, and it is the natural response of a heart awakened to God’s truth. Worship begins with understanding who God is, and true praise engages our whole being.

    Big Idea:

Understanding how to worship leads me to engage in worship.

    Application:

Believers never lack a reason to praise the Lord.

My engagement is essential when the church gathers.

God’s truths are what awaken a response to praise.

“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150:6 ESV)

    All the glory to God.

Christian Liberty | 1 Corinthians 8:1–13 | Pastor Steve Miller

This week, Pastor Steve opened the Bible to 1 Corinthians 8:1–13 and preached on Christian liberty—how our freedom in Christ is never meant for self-promotion but for the good of others.

True maturity is shown not by knowledge alone, but by love that builds up.
Strong Christians are guided by truth and grace, using freedom not to stumble others but to serve them.

📖 “Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.” (1 Corinthians 8:1 ESV)

gather to worship and grow together.
    All the glory to God.
