    Clients and Primal Diet – Modern Health Podcast listeners often ask me: "Which is better – Ghee or Coconut Oil?"

    Here's a description and info on the benefits of each.

    Both Ghee and Coconut Oil are saturated fats. Despite what we have been told, saturated fats are healthier than seed oils for us hunter-gatherer humans. Canola, Corn and Soy "vegetable" oil are high in Omega 6 fats – the one we want to avoid.

    These saturated fats cook better than seed oils and taste wonderful.

    The taste choice is up to you and the food you put it on. Or use both liberally as many do, depending on what you are cooking.

    Choline and Lithium are the key - but they must be in the correct FORM of the vitamin (Choline) and the mineral (Lithium). Orotate may be the most absorbable, correct form of Lithium. Bitartrate is the best form for Choline. I carry both in my Online Store, separately and together.
