But after digging into the actual historical data, original sources, and scholarly research, I discovered that much of what I believed was entirely backwards.

• Was December 25th borrowed from pagan festivals like Sol Invictus or Saturnalia?
• Are Christmas trees, wreaths, or other decorations rooted in pagan worship?
• Does Jeremiah 10 condemn Christmas trees?
• Should Christians avoid Christmas because Scripture doesn’t command celebrating Jesus’ birth?

We walk through early Christian writings, Roman historical records, and the development of Christian liturgical traditions to reveal what actually happened and why the early church chose to celebrate Christ’s birth when and how they did.
