  • International Women's Day: A Personal Essay on My Journey to Femininity
    Mar 8 2024

Today, we're breaking the mold on our usual format, and taking a minute to reflect on what being a woman means, on International Women's Day. While this day is often a bit of a Hallmark holiday, I wanted to dig in to something a bit more real, vulnerable and personal.

Being a woman, and being with women, is a privilege and a joy. It can also be painful, frustrating and hard.

I wrote this essay a few years ago during a retreat, and it is a personal reflection on my own journey through womanhood and how that has evolved and manifested itself throughout my life.

I hope you find it poignant, entertaining, and heartfelt, and helps you reflect yourself on your own relationship to women, or to being a woman.

    Happy International Women's Day!
