  • Discipline Isn't A War: The Internal Fight No Man Ever Wins
    Apr 16 2025
Is your self-discipline actually causing your self-destruction? Could the grind be hindering the growth in your life? Has toxic masculinity quietly corrupted our views on taking action, and even our views about ourselves as men?

These questions highlight much of our discussion today as we search for a way to "stay hard" on our habits while also finding a softness for ourselves. As I explain how I experienced this shift personally, I hope that it is relatable to men that feel a constant pressure to perform and attain perfection.

This episdode will dispel the alpha-male lie that you are not doing enough, and give you a better way to deal with your self-discipline and your overall masculine duty.

We need to find our center as men, because this world is going to continue to pull us in different directions. To oriente ourselves in space (groundedness) and time (presence), is the way to access our fullest potential. This is how we can reclaim our calm and become a sacred masculine man.

  • Plant Medicine Mormons: Where Faith Meets Psychedelics
    Sep 10 2024
Get ready for the most controversial episode yet! And one that many people might need today.

My wife Rachel and I dive deep into the reality of our ever-evolving faith as we navigate through life. While being members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we are also strong advocates for the safe and intentional use of plant medicine. Rather than focus on the scientific studies of psychedelics, we share from the lens of our experience: that these are spiritual substances.

We honor the Indigenous traditions that steward these medicines and credit how their knowledge is needed in today's world. We answer some questions of the soul around how these additional tools could fit into a westernized religious paradigm. As we discuss our own journey, we hope that some of it may resonate with people that might be feeling called to these aids for themselves or for others.

This episode is to begin the discussion! Rachel and I share openly solely to help others that might feel like nothing else is working for them to feel better. We love you. God loves you. And He has given us many paths that lead to the one Truth. Enjoy!
