To all daycare providers, parents, and indeed all individuals: Let's stop creating overly selective eaters. I stand by this statement. With over 30 years of experience in childcare, I can confidently say that children need to understand the concept of a diverse diet. Allowing children to consume only 5-6 food items is a failure on our part as parents. As a daycare provider, I often faced challenges with both parents and children. The most difficult task was consistently saying "no." This episode explores the methods I used to create my own menu, all while maintaining grace.

I would like to express my gratitude for all the emails and messages I have received. Sometimes, that's all I need. Retirement has its challenges, but I am busy finding new activities and sending out stickers in the mornings.

Driving Mr. Clift has become a passion of mine. I never considered myself a skilled driver, but I have come to realize that I am. Having a home child care business can be a real struggle. Why make things harder on yourself? Why do we have Child/Teacher ratios? Do you understand why?
