    After starting as a police officer he set his sights on the Secret Service but was initially rejected. His background in wrestling made him no stranger to adversity as he picked himself up and applied again, being accepted in 2000. He found the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a combat instructor for the Secret Service and has taken his gift and abilities in leadership from the Government to the mats. He is shaping minds young and old at A Force BJJ in Ponte Vedra, Florida and spends his time as a national keynote speaker. He is also on the advisory board for Academy Safe providing a high quality training environment for martial arts communities doing the extra work to verify it is a place run by people we can trust with our children, friends and family.
