In this Almost Daily episode I riff on a simple question. What is possible for you. The honest answer is that neither of us knows until you start. So I invite you to get curious, dream bigger than feels comfortable, and take a tiny step today even if it is only twenty seconds of action.

We talk about how over logical thinking can build a box around your life. Responsibilities matter, and you still only get one life. Use tools like the five whys to uncover what you really want, then ask a better question. Can I go bigger.

This one is recorded in one take, shipped as is, and that is the point. If you have been sitting on a podcast episode, a post, a project, or a goal because it is not perfect, publish the messy version today. Start where you are, adjust as you go, and let your curiosity set the pace.

In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, Daryl sits down once again with Zachary Fenell for another heartfelt and insightful conversation about life with cerebral palsy and the importance of building strong support systems.

Daryl and Zach open up about what independence truly means and how support can look different for everyone depending on the season of life. They discuss the value of knowing what you need, asking for help without guilt, and recognizing that a healthy support system is built on mutual respect and compassion.

Zach shares powerful stories about moving out on his own, working with supportive colleagues, and maintaining independence while relying on community. He and Daryl also touch on deeper emotional layers like overcoming the feeling of being a burden, recognizing your worth in relationships, and giving yourself permission to lean on others when needed.

The conversation expands to how sharing your story can create meaningful connections. From Zach’s marathon journey inspired by John W. Quinn’s Someone Like Me to his leadership with the online CP Chat Now community, this episode reminds us that support systems can start with one conversation, one post, or one act of sharing.

Daryl and Zach highlight how living with cerebral palsy builds problem-solving resilience and creativity that often goes unnoticed. They close with a call for everyone to find ways to connect—whether it’s through online communities, friendships, or revisiting people who once played a key role in your life.

If you’ve ever struggled to ask for help, felt isolated, or wondered how to build your circle of support, this episode will remind you that you already have the strength, creativity, and value to connect and thrive.

In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I am reminding you to start where you are and do what you can. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or worried about what others might think, this is your nudge to take the next step you can see. One step, then another, then another. You cannot screw your goals up unless you stop trying, and most people come back when the time is right anyway.

We talk about why comparing your path to what you think others are doing keeps you in your head and out of action. I share how to take the first step, how to pivot when the plan shifts, and how to ignore the noise from critics who are not living your life. Make a plan, hold it loosely, adjust as you go, and keep moving.

I want to hear your next step. Email me and tell me what you are starting today. Let’s keep it simple, honest, and consistent. Progress follows action. Always.
