Welcome to episode 52 of The Paranormal Rundown! The Gang of Nerds wishes you a Very Merry Christmas!

2025 has been a year full of exciting guests, deep conversations, and a fair amount of change for the podcast. We have covered a wide range of topics, such as Bigfoot Abductions, PSI, Cryptid Clowns, Consciousness & Reality, Remote Viewing, Machine Elves, Quantum Immortality, Lycanthropy, and so much more. However, this season has not been without it's challenges, but we have kept going, trying to bring you discussions that take you way down the rabbit hole.

The biggest change this year has been in our co-hosts. Sadly, we lost JJ due to a serious lack of available time in his schedule. We have also had to soldier on without Fr. Mike several times, due to some serious health issues that we hope will be resolved over the next couple of months. But we have some great news, our repeat guest Randy has agreed to join the gang as a permanent member! This episode is all about welcoming him to the team, and then a little discussion about why we do this podcast. We think you will agree that Randy is a fantastic addition. He has some serious knowledge in science, medicine, biology, and more, and a true inquisitive love of the paranormal. As you will hear in the episode, just like every other member of the Rundown, he has his own beliefs, life experiences, and paranormal background. We love the fact that he is not a carbon copy of any of the rest of us, and we cant wait to see all of the unique ideas he brings to the show!

Now we move on to 2026. We want you to know how much we love doing this podcast. It really is a passion for each of us, one that we put a lot of time and energy into so that you can enjoy. Our goal for 2026 is to really grow our audience. We have never spent any real time promoting the show, or even asking our listeners to do so. We have lots of plans for the future, and we are looking for your help. On our side, we are looking to add video, a website, more social media interaction on X, and potentially Facebook, Discord, and other platforms. Additionally, we will be setting up polls on Spotify for each episode going forward, and asking for more feedback by email. Finally, we are rolling out Paranormal Rundown Rabbit Holes so that we can reach those who don't want to set aside 2 1/2 to 3 hours for an episode, though I am not really sure why...

Welcome to Episode 51 of The Paranormal Rundown! This episode we have an excellent return guest, Randy, who has thoughts on many different aspects of the paranormal. Welcome to Episode 46 of The Paranormal Rundown! We are back! This is the beginning of Season 3, and we are very exited to have such a great guest to start back with. Maxim Furek is an author of books on a variety of paranormal topics, the latest of which released yesterday, Paranormal Apocalyse: Is This how It Ends? Maxim is a great Rundown guest, he has interests all over the paranormal world. We cover topics such as the Albert Ostman Bigfoot Abduction, Padre Pio, Amityville, and Addiction and the Demonic. We highly recommend you read his books, which you will find in one of the links below. Other topics covered include the Miracle of Recovery, St. Theresa of Avilla, Alien Abduction, The Smurl Haunting, Interdimensional Bigfoot, Time Travel, Anabelle's Tour, The K-T Event, Jim Jones, and The Case for AI. I believe we all left the recording thinking we may need to have him come back later this season, as there were many topics left to explore, including his interactions with Ed and Loraine Warren. As a season opener, I don't think we could ask for more, enjoy!

As a quick note, there has been a serious upgrade to a member of the Paranormal Rundown Team. Deacon Josh is now Father Josh! He was ordained back at the beginning of August, as a priest in the Charismatic Episcopal Church. We are very excited to see him take the next step towards his future. Congratulations to both Fr. Josh AND Fr. Mike!

We will be taking a break for a month or two (probably two), but we will be back in no time with Season 3.
