    Build Canada has expanded from policy memos to nationwide events, open-source tools (e.g., an AI "MP" for bill analysis and a trade barriers tracker), and campus chapters at over 15 universities, fostering a "builder movement" to make Canada the world's most prosperous nation.

    Lucy previously served as Vice President of Partnerships and Corporate Affairs at Patch, a San Francisco-based climate impact software startup, where she focused on corporate sustainability initiatives remotely from Canada.

    Lucy was Chief Government Relations Officer at Dairy Farmers of Canada, advocating for agricultural policy; an advisor at Invest Ottawa, supporting tech ecosystem growth; and a five-year parliamentary staffer for the Liberal Party, including two years as Chief of Staff to former Cabinet Minister Mona Fortier.

    Lucy earned a B.A. from the University of Toronto (Hons), and an MPA from Columbia University where she was an Fulbright Scholar.

    Mr. Rose has been the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tourmaline since he founded the Company in August 2008. Prior thereto, he was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Duvernay Oil Corp. (“Duvernay“), a publicly traded oil and gas company (2004-2008).

    Mr. Rose has more than 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and held various exploration and production positions including managing exploration and petroleum engineering research for a large E&P company before founding Berkley Petroleum Corp. (“Berkley“) in 1993. After the sale of Berkley in 2001, Mr. Rose founded Duvernay, which was sold in August 2008 for $5.9 billion.

    Mr. Rose was educated at Queen’s University, graduating with an honours degree in Geology. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists. Among other awards, Mr. Rose is the recipient of the Stanley Slipper Gold Medal from the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (2009).

    Mr. Schmidt is Chief Executive Officer and a founder of Tamarack Valley Energy. He is Chair of Tamarack Clearwater GP Inc. which provides oversight to the Clearwater Infrastructure Limited Partnership operations.

    Mr. Schmidt is an Honorary Chief of the Blood Tribe and is currently a Board of Governors member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (“CAPP”) where he is the Indigenous Affairs Task Group Chair, and previously held the position of Chair of CAPP.

    Mr. Schmidt is an industry advisor to the Indian Oil & Gas Co-Management Board, assisting First Nations with policy development, and is a Board of Governors member of the Explorers and Producers Association of Canada.

    Mr. Schmidt held various leadership positions at Apache Canada from 1999 to 2007,during which time the company grew from 14,700 to 110,000 BOE/D. Mr. Schmidt held the position of President of Apache Canada from 2003 to 2007.

Prior to his current position, he served as our President from February 2025 to May 2025, President and Chief Financial Officer from February 2022 to February 2025, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development from February 2019 to February 2022, as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development from January 2017 to February 2019 and as our Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development since joining us in July 2016.

    Mr. Van’t Hof has served as Chief Executive Officer of Viper since February 2025, and as a director of Viper since November 2023. Before joining Diamondback and Viper, Mr. Van't Hof served as Chief Executive Officer for Bison Drilling and Field Services from September 2012 to June 2016.

    Mr. Anderson retired in 2022 after 17 years as the CEO and President of Trans Mountain Corp, and predecessor companies, including Kinder Morgan Canada Inc.

    Mr. Anderson had a 44 year career in the utility and midstream pipeline industry with such companies as Inter City Gas, Westcoast Energy, BC Gas, Kinder Morgan, and most recently with the federally owned Trans Mountain.

    Mr. Anderson is now an Executive Advisor to Stonepeak Capital, he sits on the Board of Backwoods Energy Services, an Alexis Nation owned company, and he is also on the Board of Resourceworks. Ian is active in the charitable community of Calgary and has sat on numerous Boards and campaigns.
