While it won't get them hired at a corporation, the Troopers are always looking for trained killers. The EMF offers education, medical care, food, and real pay. They have a chance at a new life, one where they don't have to worry about a rival gang killing them in the street. With a 35-year EMF contract, the Victor brothers might have a new life, but it comes at a hefty cost. Peace doesn't last, and the EMF doesn't care how many troopers die as long as they complete their mission.

Warships now move in the stars, made of soul-gem constructs, built by mages and engineers, crewed by those who lived on Emerilia or within Earth’s simulation. The Deq’ual system stands with Emerilia, their brothers and sisters, and their family and fellow human descendants. The Jukal Empire will not let Emerilia rise peacefully. As empires grow, so, too, can they be toppled. Only one can remain; in their biggest gamble yet, they must pass through the fires of war, empire against empire.

The medics might be able to patch them up, but they can't heal their minds. Harmony is making their play for Earth, and the Troopers will be there to greet them. The Victors are finally going home over 200 years since they left for Sacremon. The last system-wide battle between the EHC and Harmony is about to begin.

Wins and losses, there is no time to celebrate or mourn. The Pantheon in the chaos has once again risen to power, some trying to take power from one another, others supporting the people of Emerilia.

The emperor has spoken, and the portals are opening. The Event is larger than anyone anticipated with Emerilia’s people needing to band together to survive. The creatures of nightmares and children’s stories might roam Emerilia, but this isn’t their land - it isn’t their home. The EMFC Reclaimer returns home to the Sol System, its people still fresh from combat. The crew are in for some much needed r-and-r as they take on fresh reinforcements. But leave is cut short when an encoded message arrives. The EMF at Masoul are facing something that no one saw; they need the best; they need the crew and Troopers EMFC Reclaimer. When the Reclaimer engages on Masoul, one thing becomes immediately clear, Masoul might just be the beginning.

Masoul wasn't just an uprising; it was the starting of a war. Harmony didn't start on Masoul; they were using it as a testing ground. Moretti has a lead on from where Harmony might have come. First, they need to defeat Harmony's forces in Osdal. Nerva's not going to throw his people at Harmony; this is not just a colonist uprising, this is a well-armed and well-backed military. They need more information. It comes down to the Triple-Twos to find out that information. Once again, the Victor brothers and their platoon will be right at the heart of Harmony.

Mark Victor was a soldier left broken after the Harmony War ended. What can a broken ex-trooper really do? What are they good for if they've gone through the EMF and been tossed out the other side? If you were to ask Mark...Maybe, doing what the enemy couldn't and following his brothers and sisters. Mark wakes up to a nightmare, to an unfamiliar place with unknown faces. A planet under attack, an enemy he's never seen before. He just wants to escape, but when he sees others in danger, he realizes that a trooper stands for something; they stand to protect their own. No matter the cost.

Earth is safe for now, with it came some much needed surprises. Though if Salchar was expecting a break he’s in for a rude awakening, well he’s already done that once...but anyway. Lady Fairgate has sensed something has gone wrong at Parnmal. Thinking that Jorsht is now trying to carve out his own little kingdom, she sends Captain Kelu, one of her favourite enforcers with the largest Syndicate Fleet assembled since the Syndicate and the Union went head to head.

The Second Kalu War rages across known space. The newly formed Union undergoes its first baptism, the baptism of war. The Free Fleet is barely holding the line against the Kalu. Salchar and the other commanders of the Free Fleet have one goal: survive. As war rages, politics and power brokering are at work behind the scenes in the Union. Tommie, Anthony, and Aila have a new quest: to head across Dena to the island nation Ilsal. There, they might learn more of Anthony's past and recover his lost power.
