Cliff, Monty, Shandra, and Quisha’s summer visit to Grandma’s turned out to be more interesting than they had anticipated. An unexpected find transports them to ancient and modern Africa where they meet indigenous Africans and make new friends. However, they must then find their way back home. They use their knowledge of science and history to return to Grandma's.
