It is the Fourth of July and Olivia is celebrating it with her cousins, Graham and Amelia. It’s a warm, sunny day, and they decide to take a hike in the nearby woods to admire the natural beauty of their surroundings in anticipation of family fun and games and picnic dinner. Suddenly, as they’re talking about the origin of “Independence Day,” they come upon a strange-looking machine featuring the years 1776, 1863, and 1963. Can this be a time-machine? They cannot resist climbing aboard, and during their mini-voyage learn about fairy tales and folktales that originated in many lands including France, Germany, Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, and America.
