Lisa Laizure teaches a Women's Bible Study in Phoenix Arizona. Her greatest desire is to have women connect the dots between their everyday life and their faith in Jesus. She believes strongly in the sovereignty of God and in the Bible as our final authority. Her passion is getting fellow Christians to understand the importance of reading and studying God’s Word on a daily basis. She and her husband Rob have written nine books including "Remind Me" and "Discouraged”.

Life is filled with storms. When the skies become dark, the wind starts howling and the rain begins pouring - we all have a choice. We can choose to stand in the storm unprotected or run for cover. Life is like that also for as the storms of life come upon us; the impending divorce, the loss of a loved one, the addiction, or the physical illness – we can let these unpleasant circumstances affect us or we can seek shelter and live out the storm under God’s protection and in peace.

Let’s face it…We live in a world where we are plagued with very real fears, doubts and struggles. What do we do? What weapon can we pick up to fight this battle? The most simple and powerful tool in our arsenal is the Word of God!
