We have so many moments in life and each and every one of them involves a choice. A decision that ignites a pathway for an experience. These moments can be small and other times big in terms of the direction our lives take. At the core of the choice are two competing forces logic and emotion. When in perfect balance I believe we make the best choices but seldom does that happen for most because unless you have power over them they will have power over you. The path forward all comes down to the perspective in which we see things.

Each one of these poems is infused with positive energy and given marching orders to reach those who need it most. There are common themes throughout but it is my heart's desire that one of them touches your soul and inspires you to make an amazing change in your life. I believe each person is special and that there is something inside you to share with others. This is the gift you were born with. Many never find it, but I promise it's there, waiting to be discovered, and maybe one of these poems helps you do just that.

Assets of Inspiration is a collection of poems I started writing back in 2020 during the pandemic to encourage and inspire others during a tough time for so many. I call them poems but they are really pure inspiration and motivation disguised as poetry. Little did I know it would send me on a path to write 3 books. This is my original work that started it all. I am re-working the original writing and expanding it to be more than just poems but also diving into the assets we discover through adversity, challenge, and struggle.
