Sheikh Muhammad Ayyub رحمه الله was a renowned reciter and scholar of the Qur’an, known for his powerful and deeply moving recitation style. Born in Mecca in 1952 to a poor Rohingya family who had migrated from Burma (Myanmar), he memorised the Qur’an at a young age and went on to pursue Islamic studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, eventually earning a PhD in tafsir (Qur’anic exegesis).
