By the very discovery of their existence he has placed in peril the lives of all those around him, including the man he once hated, the girl who deserted him, their family, the woman he loves, and his friends. Since he is the reason for their endangerment, can he keep them safe from harm's way?

A short story about conflict resolution between two boys in a suburban neighborhood set in the 1960s of North Texas; about how both wanted to be the king of the neighborhood among their neighborhood playmates, and how this problem was solved.
